Versa? Close, but I’m pretty sure that’s the facelifted Juke.
Not bad. The yellow helps.

Have you not noticed that internet facilitates the creation of clubs/groups for every random niche and not-so-niche thing? I mean, there are Cruze, Dart, Sonic, Juke, Corolla, and Focus clubs/groups (most of these produce an endless stream of cringeworthy pictures). There are even groups for people that love BMWs from their darkest era.

Find me a Mitsubishi Mirage fan club. I dare you!

You mean people buying new BMWs right now, correct?

I bet one exists, I’m just terrified of what I might find.

Pretty much. Plus the late 90s through early 00s when BMW was making cars that were really unreliable.

Think that was in the 05-09 time frame for BMW. Early 00s was the E38/E39/E46, the latter of which I own. What followed those 3 was a step backwards in terms of reliability.
Mercedes was bad in the later 90s I think - W210, first gen ML etc.

Some of the earlier BMWs were also pretty terrible. They kind of lost their way, slowly, in the late-90s. By the era you’re thinking of, they really didn’t make much that was decent.
Sadly, the cars that followed when they recovered a bit were bland as bland could be handling-wise, aside from their now-diluted into an oblivion M badged cars. They’re now mostly just another boring CUV/SUV manufacturer that happens to make more random body styles than anyone else I’m aware of.

All 3 members will come down on you with all the righteous fury a Versa can muster.

I didn’t know Versa’s came in yellow. Still, dick parking job.

The seeds were certainly there in the late 90s - I’m perhaps a bit lucky in that my E46 has the older engine in it (it’s a 2000 MY). That car has been very reliable for me, but it’s been well maintained since new, too.
Either way, those cars had character - unlike what they build now.

I used to be in the sx4club, I even had my sticker on mine.
It was a great place to find information.
There is even one for the current gen Pathfinder. I only go there to trouble shoot.
